A series of interviews with musicians, writers, artists, and other creative figures on topics related to the contents of Who Cares Anyway: Post-Punk San Francisco and the End of the Analog Age (Headpress Books).
On rare occasions, the episodes will mention something timely or current (at least relative to when the episode was recorded), but for the most part, the focus is generally more retrospective. In other words, the interviews are intended to be “evergreens” — that is, they are intended to be as relevant (or irrelevant) a year from now or even five years from now as when they were released.
Also, while there are occasional cross references between episodes (e.g., when one of us refers back to something that someone else said in a previous episode), there is no particular sequence to the episodes. So if you are just now finding out about the podcast, you can start with pretty much any episode and go through them in any order you wish.
